A band who simply strap on, plug in and give out but manage to do so with an uncanny pop universalism. A band whose musical Esperanto is, in this case, comprised of equal parts American, English and Swedish - a transatlantic/North Sea meeting of angular, electric wire guitars here, a voice as English as cricket there. A band whose tunes make grown men go weak at the knees, and yes, whose looks make young girls' knees tremble too. That band, right now, is Razorlight."

Holy SHIT. Razorlight are AMAZING. We can’t even imagine what that structure must look like. Its musical Esperanto is simply TOO RADICAL for our brains to comprehend. Its like a vase but with the second and fourth walls curved. Aisle16 love Razorlight, because we too have slightly glazed eyes. True artists like us don’t even have time to wake up properly in the morning. We just roll out of bed, strap on, plug in and go off, because THAT’S HOW WE DO THINGS.

Just One More – DEEP! Sara-Jane has come up with meanings to ALL Aisle16’s poems. Sometimes the words we write have more than one meaning, that’s one of the reasons that poetry is NEAT!

Hallelujah - He is Risen - There was a lot of criticism levelled at Joel over this site. People thought he had made it himself. HE DIDN'T. There are people OUT THERE who really think he is the messiah. Whatever YOUR stance, you have to admit the similarities are SPOOKY!

Our Love Was Encrypted … - This is a by John. He’s 14 and we think he’s gay and fancies Ross. That’s OK though; we’d like John even if he was a MURDERER!

Occasionally people come up to us in the street and say “What happened to you guys? You used to be cool, then you totally SOLD OUT!”

These people are pathetic whiny little maggots who are just being negative because we’re making money and presenting an image they’re not comfortable with. And we’re still COOL. We’re more OF-THE-NOW than we ever were back then. We’re so PRESENT TENSE that journalists have to talk about us like we were sitting in the same room as them or the words don’t sound right.
